Have you always dreamt of riding a horse... in a river?
Enjoy a one-hour ride in the lush nature ofAbruzzo. In Bellante, in the province of Teramo, you can mount your steed and cross the Salinello river.
Together with a guide and other fellow adventurers, your country dream takes shape!
What we will do
We will meet at the time indicated in the booking at the riding school in Bellante (TE).
Here we will meet our equestrian guide, who will hold a 10 to 15-minute briefing on approaching the horse, explaining the main techniques for handling the animal. We will then begin our walk.
We'll head for the Salinello River, a river in northern Abruzzo, which we'll ride along at times along the bank, at times in the water, to experience the thrill of crossing the river on horseback.
Throughout the route we will proceed at pace, with American riding technique, we will be immersed in nature in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The guide will lead the way on horseback to accompany us along the trail and ensure our safety.
We will return to the stables after approximately 1 hour of horse riding.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone aged 14 years and over. Minors must be accompanied on site by a parent or responsible adult.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse riding experience.
The maximum weight for participation is 100 kg.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round.
Accompanying persons may wait at the riding school during the activity; dogs on a leash are permitted on the premises.
The riding school cannot be reached by public transport. Free parking is available on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
