The Etruscans, too, perused the list of Italy's most beautiful villages.
And it is no coincidence that they settled in Sutri, where our horseback ride takes place: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride around the ancient village on the traces of this people, starting from the scenic Roman amphitheatre.
A 1- or 2-hour experience, discovering the surprising Tuscia viterbese!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Sutri (VT). Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will meet the horses and proceed with the assignment. We will then mount the horses and get familiar with the course. The guide will not fail to provide the basics of riding and all useful information for a carefree experience. This first part will last approximately 10 minutes.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride in the natural setting of Sutri, an ancient village among the most beautiful in Italy, an important stop on the Via Francigena and Etruscan history. We will venture into the Regional Natural Park, enjoying a panoramic view of the ancient Roman amphitheatre and the village of Sutri; during the flowering period, we will also pass through a scenic lavandeto! The guide will lead the group on horseback and the walk will take place at the pass.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of approximately 1 hour or 2 hours depending on the option selected.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
A maximum weight of 120 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. Experienced riders may request to trot at the guide's discretion.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
