Horse riding in Val d'Incarojo in the province of Udine

Get ready to discover an enchanted valley, where the only sounds you will hear are the gentle flow of a stream and the hooves of your horse on the ground.

To do so, saddle up and enjoy a 1- or 2-hour horseback ride (your choice when booking) in the Val d'Incarojo, in the province of Udine.

Ride in the company of an experienced guide through a landscape framed by the peaks of the Carnic Alps. It will be a wonderful adventure!

What we will do

The appointment is in Paularo (UD), 15 minutes before the time chosen at the time of booking.

Here we will be welcomed by our guide, who will hold a briefing of about 15 minutes in the field before the ride to allow us to become familiar with our horses and learn the main commands. If we choose the early morning time, we will also have the opportunity to watch the horses being prepared.

Once we are secure in the saddle, we will ride out of the stables together with the guide. We will venture along an accessible route through the woods and forest tracks of Val d'Incarojo, one of the eight valleys of Carnia.

We will ride at the pass on gravel or dirt roads, enjoying the coolness of the woods and observing the mountains that frame the landscape around us, such as Mount Sernio, the mountain pastures in the distance and the peaks of the Carnic Alps.

If conditions permit, we will also experience the thrill of crossing the Chiarsò stream on horseback.

The activity will last a total of 1 or 2 hours (choose your preferred duration when booking) and will end with the return to the riding school.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 8. Minors may participate alone in the activity; the parent or responsible adult must sign the necessary forms for daily insurance.

No experience is required to participate.

The maximum weight allowed is 100 kg.

Other information

The activity is available from April to November and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 people.

The American mount is used for the walk.

After confirming your booking, contact the guide at the contact details given to communicate the necessary data to activate thedaily insurance.

Helmet and back protector are provided, compulsory up to 14 years of age, optional from 14 years upwards.

Any accompanying persons may stay at the riding stables during the activity; dogs on a leash are permitted.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport from Tolmezzo; a free parking area is available on site.
