Enjoy an unforgettable horseback excursion to discover the Valchiusella, a valley rich in history and culture that takes its name from the river that runs through it.
An expert guide will accompany you on a ride immersed in unspoilt nature, where you can admire fabulous views and relax in the company of an extraordinary animal.
What we will do
We will meet the guide who will accompany us on our horseback ride. Before setting off, we will spend a few minutes getting to know the horses and dressing in the appropriate gear.
Afterwards, we will set off on our tour (either 1 or 2 hours) along a nature trail that will take us through the old village, the Nonani coppice, the chestnut woods and the Nonani plateau. It will be a beautiful walk through the woods of the Valchiusella, on the paths of the miners and ancient trade routes, visiting the natural park of the Nonani plateau, along the peaks of the moraine greenhouses and the "Temple of the Druids'.
We will walk along old mule tracks, paths from the Roman and Napoleonic era accompanied by tales of history and many curiosities about the local culture. We will not miss a stop at the ancient little church of San Rocco from 1600 to take a few souvenir photos.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, both beginners and experts, over the age of 14. After booking, you can indicate your level of preparation to allow the guide to compose groups that are as homogeneous as possible.
Other information
The excursion will take place on a 6 or 12 kilometre nature trail (depending on the 1 or 2 hour package chosen) and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants.
The activity can be booked throughout the year, subject to weather conditions and instructor availability.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
