2-hour horseback ride in the Valle of the Lakes

Join us for an unforgettable horse-riding excursion to discover the Valle dei Laghi, a splendid natural setting between Lake Garda and Trento.

We will ride up and down among the forest paths to breathe fresh, clean air or we will stay on the flat to head towards the archaeological area of Cavedine and dive into the past.

We will make friends with the horses that will accompany us on this adventure and learn to communicate with them in order to respect them and share the experience in serenity.

What we will do

We will meet in Cavedine (TN), 10 minutes before the time agreed at the time of booking.

We will have a briefing of about 30 minutes during which we will find out how to get in tune with the animals and how to understand their needs. We will also do a short field test before going out for a walk.

Afterwards, we will set off on our tour along the Cavedine archaeological trail, surrounded by woodland paths. Riding at the pass through the fragrant vegetation, we will encounter some Roman remains, including a characteristic spring and a road of the period, but also prehistoric finds such as several rock engravings.

The Valle dei Laghi will give us a very special landscape, where Mediterranean and Alpine vegetation mix, and olive, beech, holm oak and conifers coexist, as well as laurel and moss, and various animal species such as roe deer, fox, hare, squirrel and badger.

Return to the ranch is scheduled two hours after the start of the experience, including the initial briefing.

Who it is aimed at

The walk is suitable from the age of 14 and is ideal for beginners or people with minimal experience.

The maximum weight allowed for the activity is 110 kg.

After confirming your booking, please inform the guide of your height and experience level to facilitate horse assignment.

Other information

The experience takes place throughout the year and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants.

The ride will proceed at a leisurelypace and will be mounted in the American style.

The final decision on the riding route will be made by the guide, who will take into account the level of preparedness of the group.

At the ranch you will find around 30 horses, including ponies, Sardinian ponies and thoroughbred horses. The main breeds are Paint horse, Quarter horse, Haflingher and Anglo-Arab. The horses live in herds, in a large paddock paradise and are unshod to ensure their well-being. The ranch embraces the philosophy ofnatural horsemanship , which involves communicating with the horses in order to understand their needs and respect them.

No bags or backpacks are allowed during the ride for safety reasons.
