Full description
Join us for an unforgettable horse-riding excursion to discover the Valle dei Laghi, a beautiful natural setting between Lake Garda and Trento.
We will ride up and down forest paths to breathe in fresh, clean air or we will stay on the flat to head towards the archaeological area of Cavedine and dive into the past.
We will make friends with the horses that will accompany us on this adventure and learn to communicate with them in order to respect them and share the experience in serenity.
What we will do
We will meet at the time agreed upon at the time of booking at the ranch in Cavedine (TN ) where our horseback ride will begin.
We will have a short briefing during which we will find out how to get in tune with the animals and how to understand their needs. We will also do a short field test before going out for a walk. We will then set off on our two-hour tour through the forest trails or towards the archaeological area of Cavedine.
If we choose to go into the forest, we will walk up and downhill to a viewpoint in the Valle dei Laghi from where we can admire Lake Cavedine. The lake is surrounded by rich vegetation and it is often possible to see some windsurfers gliding over the water with their boards.
Alternatively, we can head towards the archaeological area of Cavedine along flat roads in the surrounding countryside. We will find Roman remains including a characteristic fountain and a road from the period, but also prehistoric remains such as several rock engravings.
In both cases, the return to the ranch is scheduled 2 hours after the start of the experience, including the initial briefing.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is open to anyoneover the age of 14. Previous experience on horseback is not necessary.
The maximum weight allowed for the activity is 110 kg.

The experience takes place throughout the year and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants.
The ride will proceed at a leisurelypace and will be mounted in the American style.
The final decision on the riding route will be made by the guide, who will take into account the level of preparedness of the group.
At the ranch you will find around 30 horses, including ponies, Sardinian ponies and thoroughbred horses. The main breeds are Paint horse, Quarter horse, Haflingher and Anglo-Arab. The horses live in herds, in a large paddock paradise and are unshod to ensure their well-being. The ranch embraces the philosophy ofnatural horsemanship , which involves communicating with the horses in order to understand their needs and respect them.
No bags or backpacks are allowed during the ride for safety reasons.
