There is always a first time, even for riding a horse. And this is yours!
Discover a new passion with this riding experience in Varese: together with an equestrian guide, you will learn how to take care of your steed and the main commands for communicating with him.
A 40-minute ride through woods, meadows and churches in the Varese countryside will be the highlight of your adventure!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Varese, 15 minutes before the indicated time. On arrival we will be welcomed by our equestrian guide, who will assign each participant the most suitable horse and check our level of experience.
We will begin to approach the horses and get acquainted with them by cleaning them and preparing them for the ride. Once our steeds are ready and saddled, we will enter the field and follow a 15-20 minute briefing to learn the basics and main commands.
Afterwards, we will leave the stables for a nature walk, together with the guide who will accompany us on horseback or on foot, depending on our level of safety. We will venture along dirt paths through the woods of Arcisate, among meadows, small country churches and the bucolic landscape typical of the Varese hills.
The walk will be conducted at a leisurely pace, on a 5-8 km route with slight differences in altitude. Once back at the stables, we will help the guide remove the saddles and say goodbye to our sweet horses.
The activity will last a total of 1.5 hours, of which approximately 40 minutes will be spent walking, with the remaining time dedicated to preparation and briefing.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 14 and up. Minors may participate on their own, with a release form signed by the parent or responsible adult.
The experience is ideal as a first horse ride.
The maximum weight for participation is 110 kg. If you are taller than 1.80 metres, please inform the guide after booking confirmation.
Other information
The activity takes place from March to November and is confirmed with a minimum number of 3 participants.
Saddles for American and English riding are available.
Companions may stay at the riding stables during the activity; dogs on a leash are allowed on the premises. There is a farm on site that is open from Thursday to Sunday.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
