Literally, a ride into the past. At the time of Romeo and Juliet.
Our horseback ride takes place just a few steps from the centre of Verona, the setting of the most famous of love stories. Just like the one between the horses and the equestrian guide, who will accompany you on this adventure in the saddle in the Parco dell'Adige Nord.
A 50-minute experience that you can enrich with a wine tasting!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Verona (VR). I, your riding guide, will be there to welcome you to the stables!
After an initial welcome, I will accompany you to get to know my beloved horses. I will help you get on the saddle with an American saddle and, during a briefing, I will provide you with all the information you need to lead the animal and enjoy this experience without any worries.
It will then be the start of our horseback ride: we will undertake a flat itinerary of an easy level, following paths and meadows. We will enter the Adige North Park, an urban park whose trees have been planted to celebrate each new birth in the city of Verona. We will walk along the Adige River, greeting the hills of Verona and Monte Baldo on the horizon.
We will finally return to the meeting point. The horseback ride will last 50 minutes; the experience will last 1 hour in total. But that's not all: if you have selected the"walk + tasting" option when booking, at the end of the walk a tasting of local wines will be waiting for you , accompanied by a platter of local cured meats and cheeses in the wine cellar or at the stables, depending on availability.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the riding school by an adult.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate in this activity.
This excursion is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 persons.
The duration of the excursion may vary depending on the number and experience level of the participants.
In the event of a large number of beginner participants, the guides will lead the group on foot.

Companions may stay at the riding stables where a refreshment point is available. Leashed dogs are allowed at the riding school; please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to let them know.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
