Get onhorseback to view Naples and its sea from one of the city's absolute protagonists, Vesuvius!
On our one-hour horseback ride, suitable for beginners, you will discover the Vesuvius National Park. You will immerse yourself in Mediterranean nature, admiring the blue sea, the city teeming with life, and the lava landscapes that only a volcano can offer.
Get ready to saddle up!
What we will do
We will meet in Somma Vesuviana (NA), 10 minutes before the time selected when booking. The equestrian guide, after welcoming us, will introduce us to the ranch and accompany us to the stable to get to know our four-legged companion.
Before we get on the saddle, we will be explained how to ride a horse, how to approach the animal and how we should behave during the ride, especially if it is our first horse riding experience.
We will learn the basics of American riding and, after a few practice rides, we will be able to take the reins of the horse and begin the walk for real on the trails that branch off the ranch.
We will climb up to admire the Vesuvius National Park, a true pearl of natural beauty from which we will also be able to admire the city below us, but above all the boundless sea that embraces Naples and its coastline.
This is a 5 km route suitable for everyone, so we will not find any difficulties during this walk. Once we have completed our itinerary, we will head back to the ranch to disembark and say goodbye to our guide.
The activity has a total duration of about one hour.

The activity is aimed at everyone from 14 years of age. No horse riding experience is required.

The activity takes place all year round, every day.
Insurance is included in the fee and is valid for one year. In order to register, you must give the guide the required information well in advance (you will receive his contact details by e-mail with the booking confirmation).
The ranch cannot be reached by public transport.
American-style riding is adopted, while the gait will be predominantly pacing.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
