The best way to get to know a territory? Exploring it and... tasting it!
That's exactly what you'll do on our horseback ride in Villar San Costanzo: in the company of an equestrian guide, you'll ride through the Parco Naturale Dei Ciciu and then go to a nearby inn for an aperitif.
A1.5-hour experience, discovering the province of Cuneo in (and with) all the senses!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Villar San Costanzo (CN). We will be welcomed by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we will meet the horses and proceed to saddle them. The guide will then take us through the basics of horse riding, for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride along a dirt and asphalted road, and then take a forest path in the Dei Ciciu Natural Park. Having reached a characteristic little church, and waved goodbye to Monte San Bernardo and the Croce di Valmala on the horizon, we will return to the meeting point. The guide will lead us on horseback or on foot according to the participants' needs.
Back at the base, we will each board our own means of transport to reach the nearby inn that will host us for anaperitif (included): baked goods, cold meats and cheeses from the area accompanied by 2 glasses of wine or non-alcoholic drinks. We can toast in the company of the guide or request some privacy, as we wish.
The horseback ride will last 1 hour. The total experience will last 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult on site to sign the authorisation.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate in the activity.

The experience takes place all year round.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; the activity involves a 5-minute transfer by own vehicle .

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
