And you, did you know that the profession of anchovy maker exists?
This is just one of the surprises awaiting you by taking part in our horseback ride in the province of Alessandria: first you will ride through the vineyards of Alto Monferrato together with an equestrian guide, then you will visit a family winery in the company of an oenologist (and anchovy maker).
An experience to discover the territory, in and with all the senses!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Spigno Monferrato (AL). Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, we will proceed with the assignment of the steed. This will be followed by mounting the saddle andlearning the basics of horse riding; the guide will provide all the useful information for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the splendid Alto Monferrato area, entering woods and riding through vineyards; we will also reach a vantage point with a view of the Spigno Monferrato dam. If you select the 2-hour ride, we will cross the border into Liguria to the villages of Piana Crixia and Dego. The horseback ride will last 1 hour or 2 hours depending on the duration selected.
We will then return to the meeting point where, once dismounted from the horse, we will walk to thefamily winery that shares the property with the riding school. In the company of an oenologist and winemaker, we will visit the winery and learn more about wine production. This will be followed by a wine tasting, during which it will be possible to taste all the house labels for a maximum of 12 glasses. The wine tasting will be accompanied by a platter of typical local products such as cured meats, cheeses and anchovies (the owner family has also been involved in the anchovy business for generations)!
The experience will last a total of 3 or 4 hours depending on the duration of the walk selected.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 18.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
