Visit the most beautiful places in the Novarese area with a 1-hour horseback ride in the Borgomanero woods and immerse yourself in unspoilt nature in the company of a sweet horse.
You can discover some of the most evocative places in the area, such as the San Michele hill and its vineyards, or you can have fun exploring the wooded hills such as Motto Duno.
And if this is your first time on horseback, don't worry: a professional equestrian guide will accompany you along the entire route, teaching you the basic riding techniques.
What we will do
We will meet at the riding school in Borgomanero, in the province of Novara. Here we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide and get to know the beautiful trained horses that will accompany us on our tour.
After familiarising ourselves with the animals and learning basic riding techniques, we will be ready to set off on our horseback ride in the wooded area of Borgomanero. We will explore the Novara hills along beaten paths through deciduous woods, pastures and vineyards, surrounded by unspoilt nature.
We will proceed on horseback to the church of San Michele or to Motto Duno, depending on weather conditions and the condition of the trail.
A qualified guide will accompany us on foot along the route for our safety and that of the horses. For this reason, we will never ride at a trot, but always at a walking pace.
The activity has a total duration of approximately 1 hour and ends with the return to the riding school.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is designed for beginners and those with no horse riding experience.
The minimum age to participate is 6 years. The maximum weight limit is 100 kg.

The excursion can be booked throughout the year, subject to weather conditions and instructor availability.
The activity is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult and will be accompanied by the guide during the ride, even if they have horse riding experience.
Thenecessary equipment (helmets and protective corset) will be provided on site. The protective corset is obligatory for minors, while the helmet is obligatory for everyone.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
