Full description
A castle and a knight. These are not the ingredients of a fairytale but of our horseback ride!
In the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride in the Serio River Park in the vicinity of Malpaga Castle. Moreover, on your return to the stables you will find an aperitif waiting for you.
And yes, you will be the protagonist of this fairy tale written in the province of Bergamo!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Capannelle, hamlet of Zanica (BG) . Welcoming us to the riding school will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure in the saddle!
Once all participants have gathered, we will get to know the horses: the guide will assign us the best according to our physical characteristics and level of experience. We will begin to bond with our adventure companion by grooming and saddling him/her in preparation for the ride. Having donned the equipment, we will mount the horse and learn the basics of riding during a field exercise.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the Serio River Park, a natural setting not far from the centre of Bergamo. If we are lucky and if the height of the water allows, we will also ford the river and approach Malpaga Castle! The guide will lead the group on horseback and the walk will take place at the pass.
With the mountains of Bergamo and Brescia in the background, we will finally return to the stables. Here we will dismount and clean our horse, before saying goodbye to it. This will be followed by an aperitif at the riding stables consisting of focacce, pizzette, canapés and other snacks according to the availability of the day, accompanied by alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks.
The horse ride will last about 2 hours; the total experience will last about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 18.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride but physically demanding.
Other information
The experience runs from March to October.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
