Bring out the adventurous spirit in you and join a one-and-a-half-hour horseback ride in the Sirente Velino Nature Park, pearl ofAbruzzo.
You will ride along unpaved paths, made up of ascents and descents, surrounded by wild nature rich in colours and scents. Along the way you will admire delightful streams of fresh water and have the chance to spot wild animals such as deer and roe deer.
It will be a hike that will remain in your heart!
What we will do
The appointment is in Gagliano Aterno (AQ), 15 minutes before the time chosen for the ride.
We will be welcomed by the guide , who will hold an initial 10-minute briefing explaining how to handle the horse and how to ride correctly, with English or American mounts.
The route on which we will venture will be mostly dirt, made up of ascents and descents, and bordered by beech trees and rocks. Along the approximately 8 km route, we will have the opportunity to spot various animals in the park, such as roe deer, wild boar, deer... or even wolves!
The Sirente Velino nature park is a true green lung and covers no less than 60,000 hectares. Living this experience will be an opportunity to breathe good air and establish a trusting relationship with your horse. The guide will adapt the walk to the participants' level of experience: beginners will do the activity at a walking pace, while more experienced riders can also try trotting and galloping.
The activity will last a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes, including 1 hour and 30 minutes in the saddle.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone from the age of 14. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or present a signed release form.
No riding experience is required to participate.
The maximum weight permitted is 100 kg.
Other information
The excursion is available all year round, every day except Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday.
The riding will be English or American.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. On site there is the possibility of staying overnight at a chalet: contact the guide, after booking, for more information.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the equestrian centre during the activity; dogs on a leash are allowed.

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund!
