A complete experience discovering Ischia, in (and with) all the senses!
A horseback ride in a characteristic natural setting, with views of the Aragonese Castle and the Bay of Naples. Followed by a visit to the Tenuta del Cannevale, an area that you will get to know and savour.
Yes, because waiting for you will be a traditional lunch accompanied by house wines, as Ischian hospitality teaches!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Barano D'Ischia (NA). Welcoming us to the stables will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this riding adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we will meet the horses, complete the preparation, proceed with the saddle and learn the basics of horse riding. This first moment will take place within a fenced field to become familiar with the animal.
It is then that our horseback ride can begin: we will ride along an initial stretch of asphalt and then venture along a wooded path with typical Ischian vegetation. We will ride on the slopes of a mountain, which will give us a panoramic view of the Aragonese Castle.
We will then arrive at the Tenuta del Cannevale, where we will be welcomed with open arms by the owners. We will visit the winery and take a short walk through the vineyard, discovering the organic production of wine. We will then access the panoramic terrace, set for lunch (included): the menu consists of 3 courses of traditional Ischian cuisine, including the inevitable rabbit. All while toasting with the house wines, with the Gulf of Naples in the background!
We will finally return to the meeting point, still riding our trusty steed. The part on horseback will last 1½ hours; the part on the estate will last 2½ hours; the total experience will last 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 4 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the riding stables by an adult or have a signed release form. The wine-tasting session is reserved for adult participants only; underage participants will be served a non-alcoholic drink.
A maximum weight of 110 kg is required to participate in the activity.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride; the activity is recommended for those in good physical shape due to the presence of gradients along the route.

The experience is available all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
