Full description
There is no better setting for a horseback ride than the 'green lung' of Abruzzo: the Majella National Park!
Ride for 1 hour in this beautiful natural setting at the foot of Mount Morrone, near the municipality of Pratola Peligna. A liberating experience in the countryside, discovering riding and the territory in the company of an equestrian guide.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Pratola Peligna (AQ). We will be welcomed at the stables by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure in the saddle!
Once all participants have gathered, we will meet our 'adventure companions', the horses. We will proceed to the saddle and be taught the basics of riding. We will then get familiar with it by taking a test ride on the training ground.
It is then that our horseback ride will begin: we will take a mainly flat path that will take us along the Sagittario river (which flows all the way to Tuscany!), and then into the woods of the Majella National Park. Along the way at the foot of Monte Morrone, we will also spot the Orsa Castle.
We will finally return to the meeting point. The horse ride will last 1 hour; the total experience will last 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 8 years of age. Children from 14 years of age will ride independently, while children from 8 to 13 years of age will be led on the ground by a dedicated guide via a harness. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the riding school by an adult to sign a release form.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate in the activity.
This experience is of an easy level and suitable for first-time horse riders.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when a minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons can wait in the riding hall where a clubhouse with meeting point is set up; dogs on a leash are permitted in the riding hall.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
