Gathering around the fire, sharing dinner and life stories.
This is only a part of what awaits you by participating in our horse trekking in Valchiavenna: in the company of an equestrian guide and other enthusiasts, you will ride along scenic mountain trails and sleep in a tent in the nature.
A two-day experience, lived intensively from day to night!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before 10:00 a.m. at the meeting point in Motta di Sotto, in the municipality of Campodolcino (SO). Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, we will proceed with the assignment of the steed. We will then mount the saddle and go over the notions of horsemanship useful for a carefree experience.
And then our horseback riding tour on Alpe Motta will begin: we will venture along scenic mountain trails, reaching natural attractions such as Lake Azzurro. We will ride for about five hours, until we reach the campsite set up in the forest: it is here that we will spend the night, enjoying a barbecue and sleeping in a tent with our fellow adventurers.
And once we've gathered our energies at breakfast, the horseback ride will continue the next morning: we will venture onto theAndossi Plateau, riding for about another 5 hours in beautiful mountain scenery.
We will finally return to the meeting point at 17:00 the following day.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for 12 years and over. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
A maximum weight of 95 kg is required to participate.
The experience is suitable for experienced riders able to trot.
The experience requires a spirit of adaptation. At the camp there is a fountain in which to wash; alternatively, the toilet facilities of a bar are available a few minutes' walk away.

The experience takes place from June to September.
Personal items may be carried in saddle bags.

Dogs are not allowed.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
