2-hour horseback ride through the Monferrato hills

Imagine riding through hilly terrain, dotted with vineyards.

This fantasy could soon become reality by taking part in our horseback ride: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will venture into the saddle between Carentino and Bruno, for a2-hour experience in the splendid natural setting of the Monferrato.

What we will do

I will be waiting for you 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Carentino (AL). I, your riding guide, will be there to welcome you to the riding stables !

On your arrival you will meet the horse, climb into the saddle and listen to the briefing during which I will provide you with all the information you need to enjoy this experience without any worries. We will undertake a medium-level course, so it is important that you already have a minimum of riding experience.

After checking the riding ability of each participant, we will be ready to venture into the Monferrato hills. We will ride along an initial stretch on the plain, crossing cultivated fields, and then challenge the difference in altitude by entering a scenic wood, enjoying the view of the valleys that frame Carentino. We will then reach the vineyards of Bruno, the first village in the Asti area that we will encounter.

After approximately 13 km, we will return to the meeting point. The horse ride will last 1 hour and 45 minutes; the experience will last 2 hours in total.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have signed authorisation.

A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate in this activity.

This activity is of medium level, suitable for those with previous experience of horse riding: the participant must be able to start, brake and steer the horse; the walk will take place at pace.

Other information

The experience is available from January to December and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.

The experience takes place subject to weather conditions at the organiser's discretion.

The duration of the experience may vary depending on the number and experience of participants.

There is a car park on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

Riding could be English or American type depending on the horse and experience of the participant.

Adaily insurance policy at a cost of €5.00 per person must be paid on site.

Any accompanying persons may remain at the riding stables for the entire duration of the experience.

Dogs are allowed at the riding stables as long as they are used to the community and kept on a leash; there are other dogs at the stables.
