Horseback riding in the Monferrato plain

This could be your first horseback ride.

Our equestrian guide will accompany you on foot along a designated beginner's route through the cultivated plains of Carentino and its surroundings. An easy itinerary, designed to familiarise you with the saddle.

A 1-hour experience, just enough time to fall in love with these animals!

What we will do

I will be waiting for you 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Carentino (AL). Welcoming you at the riding stables will be me, your equestrian guide!

On your arrival you will meet the horse, get on the saddle and listen to the briefing during which I will explain how to lead the animal. I will provide you with all the information you need to enjoy this experience without any worries, even and especially if it is your first horse ride.

After taking the first steps in the stables, to check the preparedness of each participant, we will be ready to venture into the saddle along the designated route. The itinerary winds its way across the Monferrato plain: we will cross the cultivated fields of Carentino and its environs, going at pace; the crops change from year to year, so who knows what colours they will give us on our walk! I will accompany you on foot along the route, to provide constant support.

After 6 km, we will finally return to the meeting point. The horseback ride will last 50 minutes; the experience will last 1 hour in total.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have signed authorisation.

A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate in this activity.

This activity is of an easy level, suitable for a first horse ride.

The experience is available from January to December and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.

The experience takes place subject to weather conditions at the organiser's discretion.

The duration of the experience may vary depending on the number and experience of participants.

There is a car park on site.

The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

Riding could be English or American type depending on the horse and experience of the participant.

Adaily insurance policy at a cost of €5.00 per person must be paid on site.

Any accompanying persons may remain at the riding stables for the entire duration of the experience.

Dogs are allowed at the riding stables as long as they are used to the community and kept on a leash; there are other dogs at the stables.
