Explore the Murgia Park on horseback and immerse yourself in a landscape where history and nature come together.
This one-hour equestrian adventure with an expert guide will take you past dry stone walls, sheep tracks and typical Murgia vegetation.
A route also suitable for those who have never ridden a horse, ideal for discovering a new passion!
What we will do
The appointment is in Cassano delle Murge (BA), 20 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
Here we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide who will take us to meet our horses. If we would like to assist and help with the preparation, we can show up a little early, otherwise we will find the horses ready.
Before going out for a walk, we will have a short 10-15 minute lesson to learn the main commands. Once we have gained confidence in the saddle, it will be time to hit the trail! We will follow the guide on horseback outside the riding stables and immerse ourselves in the Alta Murgia National Park, in the heart of Puglia.
We will ride at pace on beaten paths and dirt roads, with minimal gradients, in a landscape shaped by nature and man. Amidst dry stone walls and typical Murgia vegetation, different in every season, we will experience a more active and exciting way of experiencing the area.
We will cover between 6 and 8 km on horseback and, with some luck, we may spot wild animals typical of the area, such as foxes and hawks, during the ride. During the activity, the guide will take photos with his mobile phone, which he will share with us via WhatsApp at the end of the ride.
We will return to the riding school after about 45-50 minutes of walking. The activity will last a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, even without experience, from the age of 14.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult (who may be a participant or follow the walk).
The maximum weight allowed is 90 kg.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
Saddles for English or American riding are available.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the facility during the activity; dogs on a leash are permitted.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. There is free parking on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
