Full description
In Rome there is everything, even nature and the sea. But how?
This is possible in Ostia, where our horseback ride takes place. In the company of a riding instructor, you will climb into the saddle and ride through a pine forest a few kilometres outside the capital. Until you hear the call of the sea!
A 1.5-hour experience to breathe deeply in the Roman nature.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Ostia (RM). I, your riding instructor, will welcome you at the riding school!
You will be able to take part in this experience even if it is your first time in the saddle, as I will explain the basic riding techniques to you on arrival. I will then guide you on the ground during a trial ride with English riding in the riding hall.
It is then that the real horseback riding will begin: I will also mount my faithful steed and we will venture out along the trail. We will almost immediately plunge into the Pineta di Castel Fusano, a protected area in which we will ride partly on sand. Yes, because although we are only a few kilometres away from the city, we will also be a short distance from the sea, which will be the background to our ride!
We will cover 7 km in the saddle before returning to the meeting point, for an experience lasting 1½ hours in total. If you have purchased one of the options"horseback ride + toast", "horseback ride+ aperitif" or"horseback ride + apericena", you will be able to toast in the riding stables with friends on the way back.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 3; children under 18 do not need to be accompanied by an adult but must be able to provide parental identification on arrival at the riding school.
To participate in this activity, the maximum weight limit is 90 kg.
This activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.

The experience takes place all year round.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Thestart time of the experience may vary from the selected time depending on the organiser's availability.
During the ride, children will be led on the ground by the riding instructor.
Any accompanying persons may remain in the dedicated area at the riding stables. Leashed dogs are welcome at the riding stables.
When booking, it is possible to purchase one of the following options to enhance the experience
- horseback ride + toast: 1 alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink accompanied by chips and/or other assorted snacks.
- horseback ride +aperitif: 1 alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink accompanied by a mixed board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
