Rome is eternal, but you only have 1 hour to discover it... on horseback!
In the heart of the Appia Antica Regional Park, a stone's throw from the chaos of the city, an experience combining nature, history and adventure awaits you. You will ride along paths immersed in greenery, among archaeological remains and timeless panoramas, in the saddle of a docile horse and in the company of an expert instructor .
A special way to explore a hidden corner of the capital with new eyes!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the riding school in Rome, where theequestrian instructor and horses will be waiting for us, ready for the ride.
Before setting off, the instructor will give us a briefing of about 10 minutes: he will explain the basics of horse riding and give us a few tips on how to make the most of the experience, even if it is our first time on horseback! Once in the saddle, we will begin our exploration in the Appia Antica Park. We will ride along a flat path surrounded by greenery, where nature mixes with history: along the way we will admire ancient archaeological remains and Christian monuments, true fragments of the past set in the landscape.
We will arrive as far as the remains of the Via Appia Antica and will not miss a few stops to enjoy the view and breathe in thecountry air. We will then resume our route, continuing to explore the park's paths in total relaxation, always accompanied by theinstructor who will follow us on horseback.
We will finally return to the stables after a 1-hour ride. The experience will last approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes in total, including the initial briefing.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for 14 years of age and above; children under 18 must present themselves accompanied by an adult.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate in this activity.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.

Activities are available all year round.
There is free parking for guests on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the riding stables, where there is a bar/restaurant and a park equipped with tables, gazebos and benches.
Dogs are allowed at the riding stables.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
