Full description
Clop, clop: that's the soundtrack to your 1½-hour horseback ride in Val Brembana!
After learning the basics of horse riding, you can immerse yourself in the silence of nature amidst pleasant ups and downs, streams and bridges to cross in the saddle of your steed.
Along the way, the intact medieval villages of Cornello and Oneta also await you, as well as a tasting session: stable products and a glass of wine will add even more flavour to your experience!
What we will do
We will meet in Camerata Cornello (BG), 15 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
The first part of the activity will be dedicated toapproaching the horse (about 30-40 minutes), to learn together with the guide how to prepare it and the main commands.
Once the lesson is over, we will begin our ride: a guide on foot will follow each participant throughout the excursion, to ensure maximum safety. Starting from the historic hamlet of Cornello, we will pass through the cobbled streets of the centre, then proceed along Via Mercatorum and take a pleasant path through the woods.
During this first part of the route we will face small ups and downs and cross streams, bridges and enchanting green valleys. We will then reach the medieval village of Oneta, the birthplace of the famous harlequin mask, and then head towards the village of Sentino, located in a panoramic position over the Val Brembana.
We will complete a double-loop route of about 4-5 km, alternating between dirt tracks, cobblestones, meadows and roadsides, returning to the stable after 1.5 hours of riding.
At the end of the ride, we will have an open-air tasting session to try delicious jams from the stable's own production, honey, products in oil and other seasonal specialities, with a glass of wine, water and coffee.
We will say goodbye after a total of 2.5 hours of activities, including about 30 minutes of introductory lecture, 1.5 hours of walk and 30 minutes of tasting.
