Full description
Looking for an experience that combines nature and relaxation in Bormio?
Then forget the thermal baths and book this horseback ride now! Riding your steed, you will ride for almost an hour along the banks of the Adda, accompanied by the roar of the river and admiring the mountains surrounding the valley.
Of course, an equestrian guide will be at your side, ready to support you stride after stride!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Bormio (SO). Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this horseback ride!
Having gathered all the participants, we will listen to a short briefing of about 5 minutes during which we will learn the basics of horse riding for a carefree experience, after which we will be assigned a horse and be ready to mount up.
The ride will take place along the banks of the Adda River: accompanied by the sound of flowing water, we will ride mostly on the asphalted path of the Bormio cycle path, surrounded by the Alps and green pastures. During the experience, the guide will follow us on foot to take incredible souvenir photos!
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 3 and up; children under 18 may participate with signed parental authorisation.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate in the activity.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for first-time horse riders.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round; in the winter period the walk may also take place in the event of snowfall.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons can wait in the riding hall or follow the participants on foot free of charge. Dogs are allowed both in the riding hall and during the experience, kept on a leash by an accompanying person or guide.
