Immerse yourself in the unspoilt landscapes of this natural park with a one-hour horseback ride between the coast and the hinterland of Palinuro.
Ride along the Lambro river to the Marinella beach and try spotting the Palinuro primrose, a unique and fascinating plant typical of the limestone coast of Campania.
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Palinuro (SA).
Upon arrival, the guide will spend a few minutes on the first notions: we will mount the saddle and understand how to manage the horse through the main commands, beginning to find a feeling with our animal.
In a short time we will leave the stables on horseback, with the guide at the head of the group and keeping awalking pace. With a route through the greenery, we will arrive in sight of the Arco Naturale beach. We will then follow a stretch of cycle path and ride along the Lambro river to a point from where we can admire the Marinella beach.
All along the way we will be surrounded by the lush vegetation of the Cilento National Park. We will also have to sharpen our eyesight, because on the rocky walls around us we may be lucky enough to spot the Palinuro primrose, a flower with an intense yellow colour typical of these coasts.
At the end of the walk, after covering about 6 km, we will return to the riding school. The total duration of the activity will be one hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is recommended from the age of 8. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult during the walk.
In the presence of children, the guide reserves the right to assess the feasibility of the experience at the time; depending on their level, younger children may be accompanied by a walking guide.
The experience is of an easy level and ideal for beginners.
The maximum weight for participants is 100 kg.

The activity takes place all year round.
Saddles for English and American riding are available.
Companions may wait in the riding hall during the activity. The facility has a large outdoor area, toilets and a changing room; leashed dogs are allowed in the riding hall.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; free parking is available on site.
