Full description
Explore the Gargano National Park on horseback. Give yourself an hour of escape and find yourself by immersing yourself in the tranquility and silence of unspoiled wilderness.
You will discover a little-known area of the Gargano, which still retains all its authentic beauty. You will meet buffaloes and grazing cows and stop at panoramic viewpoints from which you can extend your gaze as far as the Tremiti Islands.
And if this is your first time on horseback, don't worry: experienced guides will accompany you to teach you basic horse handling techniques and to ensure your safety. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet at the riding school in San Nicandro Garganico, in the province of Foggia. The riding school is located in a strategic position, a short distance from both the sea and the lakes of Lesina and Varano.
Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide and given a quick briefing in which the basic techniques of horse handling will be explained. Afterwards, we will set off on our walk in the Gargano National Park.
In the company of our guides, we will explore a little-known area of the Gargano, where nature reigns supreme. It is no coincidence that the park is one of the most important examples of biodiversity in the entire country and is home to 35 per cent of Italy's botanical species.
During the walk we will maintain awalking pace, which will allow us to admire all the beauty of the landscape. There will be no shortage of stops at some panoramic viewpoints from which it is possible to see the Tremiti Islands. Along the way, we will also encounter buffaloes and cows in the wild.
The activity lasts about 1 hour and ends with the return to the riding school.

The activity is for everyone, even those who have never ridden a horse before.

The horseback rides take place throughout the year and include American-style riding.
In the months of April to October, it is possible to add to the experience a picnic at the stables after the ride, at a cost of €20 per person. The picnic includes typical Apulian products such as cold meats, cheeses and local vegetables, accompanied by a glass of wine. Choose the 'walk + picnic' option when booking.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
