Admire the most beautiful view of Ascoli Piceno on horseback!
Climb into the saddle and reach the plateau of Colle San Marco, a natural balcony overlooking the city, in the company of an equestrian guide. To make it even more special, there will be a lunch with typical local products in front of this panorama.
The experience is reserved for experienced riders, ready to ride together on this new adventure!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Ascoli Piceno (AP), 10 minutes before the indicated time.
After getting to know our guide and horses, we will have a briefing of about 10 minutes to go over the main commands. We will then set off to discover the wonderful trails of Ascoli Piceno and the Piagge area, which will take us to the San Marco hill plateau, an extraordinary balcony overlooking the city.
Along the approximately 15 km round trip, we will ride through forests, olive groves, chestnut groves and travertine quarries and admire in the distance symbols of the city such as theSan Marco hermitage, the Beato Corrado cave, the rock formation known as Dito del Diavolo (Devil's Finger ) and the Partisan Shrine. We will ride at the pass, along a scenic route with ascents and descents.
When we reach the plateau of San Marco Hill, we will stop for lunch (included) in this picturesque landscape with vast green meadows and tree-lined avenues. We will enjoy a starter and main course with typical local products at an open-air kiosk (drinks not included, to be paid locally).
After the break, we will get back on horseback to return to the stables, along the same route taken on the outward journey. The total duration of the activity will be 4 hours, of which approximately 3 hours in the saddle.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
A maximum weight of 110 kg is required to participate.
The experience is reserved for experienced riders: the participant must be able to handle the animal independently and be used to riding for the duration indicated.

The activity takes place all year round.
The mount used is the English mount .

The nearest bus stop is about a 15-minute walk away; upon request, the guide is available to pick participants up free of charge at the bus stop. To reach the facility by car, it is necessary to drive along a stretch of uneven road surface.
Any accompanying persons may remain at the facility during the activity; dogs on a leash are welcome in the riding stables.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
