Full description
Have you always dreamt of horse riding through rolling hills and lush forests? Then you are in the right place!
You won't be able to miss a 1.5-hour horseback ride through the hills of Alto Monferrato with an expert equestrian guide.
Get closer to the world of horse riding by walking along the river and being enchanted by the wonderful landscapes.
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected when booking in Melazzo, in the province of Alessandria. We will be welcomed at the stable by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this experience.
We will begin to approach the horse from the ground so as to gain a little confidence: we will be able to brush and saddle these docile animals under the supervision of the guide, who will conduct a briefing to allow us to enjoy the ride in total safety. We will start by climbing into the saddle and walking around the stable field for about ten minutes to learn the basics: how to start, what commands to give the horse to turn and how to stop.
At this point we will be ready to start our walk! We will venture out together with the guide along flat paths , skirting the river and crossing it in a short stretch. We will pass through lush wooded areas until we reach wide expanses, where we can admire the surrounding panorama of the rolling hills of the Alto Monferrato.
We will proceed at a leisurely pace along a route of about 3 km and, after about 1 hour spent in the saddle, we will return to the starting point. The activity will last about 1.5 hours in total, including a briefing, a tour of the stables and a ride.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from 15 years of age; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
A maximum weight of 80 kg is required to participate in this activity.
Other information
The experience is available from March to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
English riding is used for the walk. American riding can also be requested; please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons can stay at the riding stables.
