Experience the thrill of horseback riding among the rolling hills of Monferrato in the company of an equestrian guide.
You will ride along a scenic flat path perfect for those with no experience on horseback and enjoy a delicious aperitif based on typical local products.

What we will do
The appointment will be at the time selected during the booking process in Melazzo (AL), where we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on the ride.
We will become familiar with the horse with an initial approach from the ground, brushing and saddling these docile animals. In the meantime, the guide will hold a short briefing to allow us to enjoy the ride in complete safety. We will then get on the horse to spend the first 10 minutes in the stable field and learn the basics: how to start, what commands to give the horse to turn and how to stop.
At this point we will be ready to venture along flat paths , skirting the river and crossing it in a short stretch. We will pass through lush wooded areas until we arrive at wide expanses where we can admire the surrounding panorama of the rolling hills of Alto Monferrato.
We will proceed to the pass and after a little over an hour in the saddle, we will return to our starting point.
We can recharge our batteries with an aperitif of typical local products , such as cheese, salami, spritz or local wine. At the organiser's discretion, the aperitif will be held either about three quarters of the way along the river or at the end of the ride, when we return to the stable.
The activity will last about two hours in total, including briefing, stable tour, walk and aperitif.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from 15 years of age; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
A maximum weight of 80 kg is required to participate in this activity.

The experience is available from March to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
English riding is used for the walk. It is also possible to request American riding; please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
Theaperitif is included in the cost and will be based on typical local products: Roccaverano cheese, typical cold cuts, chips, focaccia, pizzas, spritz or local wine, and soft drinks. At the organiser's discretion, the aperitif may be held at the end of the walk in the stables or during the walk by the river.

The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
