Have you ever ridden a horse in a river bed? There's always a first time!
Saddle up and ride along the course of the Mingardo river, immersed in the lush vegetation of the Cilento National Park, a short distance from the beaches of Arco Naturale and Palinuro.
Join aone-hour excursion in the company of an equestrian guide and recharge your batteries in contact with nature!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Palinuro (SA).
Upon arrival, the guide will dedicate a few minutes to the first notions: we will mount the saddle and understand how to manage the horse through the main commands, beginning to find a feeling with our animal.
In a short time we will leave the stables on horseback and ride along the Mingardo river, which flows into the Tyrrhenian Sea near Cape Palinuro. We will ride at pace in the river bed, usually dry or with the water barely touching the horses' hooves, with the guide leading the group.
Amidst beautiful views of greenery, high cliffs and grazing animals, we will be completely immersed in the nature of the Cilento National Park.
At the end of the walk, after covering between 4 and 6 km, we will return to the stables. The total duration of the activity will be one hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is recommended from the age of 8. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult during the walk.
In the presence of children, the guide reserves the right to assess the feasibility of the experience at the time; depending on their level, younger children may be accompanied by a walking guide.
The experience is of an easy level and ideal for beginners.
The maximum weight for participants is 100 kg.

The activity takes place all year round.
Saddles for English and American riding are available.
Companions may wait in the riding hall during the activity. The facility has a large outdoor area, toilets and a changing room; leashed dogs are allowed in the riding hall.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; free parking is available on site.
