Full description
Come and enjoy a 1-hourhorse riding experience while admiring the picturesque Lake Como and Lake Lugano.
You will ride in the Regional Forest of Monte Generoso along a 5 km loop trail together with an equestrian guide.
If this is your first time on horseback, you certainly cannot miss this experience immersed in nature.
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected when booking in Centro Valle Intelvi, in the province of Como. Here we will meet the equestrian guide who will introduce us to his beloved horses.
After a brief theoretical lesson on the ground to learn the best techniques for handling the horse, we will be ready to mount the saddle and set off. We will be at an altitude of 1,300 metres and the walk will be very impressive from the very first moments: we will start out along a dirt road with a splendid panoramic view of Lake Como and Lake Lugano.
We will then enter the Regional Forest of Monte Generoso, proceeding at a leisurely pace along a ring-route of about 5 km. It will be a relaxing and regenerating experience, always in contact with nature, where the equestrian guide will be at our side to ensure our safety.
After riding for about 100 metres and riding for 1 hour, we will return to the starting point. The experience lasts a total of approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14.
No previous experience is required to participate, and the maximum weight allowed is 130 kg.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or havesigned authorisation to take part in the walk.
Other information
The activity is available from April to October.
The type of mount used is American.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons may stay on the farm.
Dogs are allowed on the farm as long as they are on a leash and used to the presence of horses.
