Full description
Green meadows and fragrant apple orchards are the magical ingredients of this horseback ride in Bianzone , in the province of Sondrio.
In the silence of nature, you will be able to see the beautiful landscapes of theAlta Valtellina unfold before your eyes as you ride along the Adda river at the pass. The only sound will be that of your horse's hooves treading on the grass.
Depending on your desire to ride, when booking you can choose between a 1-hour or a 2-hour ride, always in the company of an experienced and friendly guide.
What we will do
We will meet at the riding stables in Bianzone (SO), 30 minutes before the time chosen when booking.
Here we will immediately begin with a short briefing, between 10 and 15 minutes, in which the riding guide will explain safety rules and how to deal with the animals. After distributing the helmets and saddling the horses, we will go to a covered field and begin to get familiar with our steeds, leading them by hand.
We will then begin our walk, at a walking pace if there are beginners in the group. The more inexperienced and timid will be able to count on the assistance of a guide on foot, otherwise the guide will accompany the group on horseback .
Proceeding along the Adda river, we will enter a beautiful flat route totally immersed in the greenery of theAlta Valtellina. Amidst orchards, apple orchards, dirt roads and meadows, we will make a ring-route of 7-8 km (increasing to 10 km in the 2-hour ride).
The return to the riding school will take place after 1 or 2 hours of walking, depending on the option chosen at the time of booking.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, even beginners from the age of 14. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult during the walk.
The maximum weight for participation is 100 kg.

The activity takes place all year round, every day, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The mount used can be English or American, at the customer's request.
The meeting point can be reached by car or by train (Milan-Tirano line with a stop in Tresenda and pick-up service on request). Ample parking is available on site.
Any accompanying persons can stay at the riding stables, which offer numerous bars and holiday farms in the vicinity. Dogs on a leash are allowed; there are special boxes in the stables for leaving them during the activity.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
