If horses and nature are your passion, Val d'Ayas is your destination!
We even rhymed, so how can you say no. Take part in our horseback ride in Ayas: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride at an altitude of 2,000 metres in a beautiful setting framed by conifers and mountains.
A 1-hour experience at the foot of Monte Rosa!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Ayas (AO). We will be welcomed by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, we will proceed with horse assignment. Inside the camp, we will mount the saddle and learn the basics of horse riding; the guide will not fail to provide us with all the information we need for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride in the beautiful natural setting of Val d'Ayas, at an altitude of 2,000 metres, entering a coniferous forest and following the course of the Ru Courtaud. The route is about 5 km of gentle ups and downs and will offer panoramic views of Monte Rosa!
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 7 years of age. Children will ride ponies or horses at the guide's discretion. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
A maximum weight of 85 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

The experience takes place from June to September.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
