Full description
If horses and nature are your passion, Val d'Ayas is the destination you have been looking for.
We are waiting for you at the riding school in Antagnod, at an altitude of almost 2000 m, for a 1-hour horseback ride in the mountains of the Aosta Valley. Coniferous forests, meadows and an exceptional panoramic view of Monte Rosa will be the perfect setting for learning to ride.
All you have to do is get in the saddle!
What we will do
We will meet at the ranch in Antagnod (AO), 15 minutes before the time selected during the reservation.
After a brief welcome, each participant will be assigned his or her own horse. Staying within the enclosure, we will learn how to ride and communicate with our animal through the first basic commands, and then begin the ride.
Together with an equestrian guide, we will plunge for a stretch into a coniferous forest and follow the course of the Ru Courtaud, letting ourselves be accompanied by the silvery sound of its waters and alternating small ascents and descents.
During the 5-6 km route, which we will ride while remaining in the saddle, we will be able to admire the Val d'Ayas landscape with splendid views of Monte Rosa.
We will then return to the ranch after a 1-hour ride.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, including beginners, from the age of 7 and upwards, with a maximum weight of 85 kg.
An accompanying person is not required for minors.
Other information
The activity is available every day from June to September.
The ride is conducted entirely in the saddle, with English riding. Younger children can ride ponies or horses proportionate to their height.
Please contact the guide after booking confirmation to inform him/her of the participants' age, weight and height and send photos of ID card and social security number to take outinsurance (included).
Parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
