Full description
Experience a day of nature and taste in the beautiful setting of the Lepini Mountains in the province of Latina.
A horseback ride through the Selva di Cori forest awaits you, followed by a visit to theAzienda Marco Carpineti. Here you will discover the history of this winery, one of the first to obtain organic certification in Italy, and enjoy a guided tasting of three wines paired with a lunch with the menu of the day.

What we will do
The appointment is at a riding school in Cori (LT), at the time chosen for the activity.
Here we will meet the equestrian guide who will accompany us during the ride. Before riding, we will have a briefing to learn some riding basics, make friends with our horse and familiarise ourselves with English riding.
Once we are secure in the saddle, we will leave the stables and proceed at a walking pace on a simple trail in the Selva di Cori, a natural wonder of the Lepini Mountains. We will ride for about an hour and a quarter among ancient chestnut and beech trees, with the sounds of nature playing the main role. The route will alternate between flat stretches and small gradients, also suitable for inexperienced participants.
At the end of the walk, we will return to the stables and move on to Tenuta Capolemole, home of theMarco Carpineti winery. The winery is about 5 km from the riding centre and must be reached by our own transport.
Welcoming us to the winery will be the second generation of the Carpineti family, who have been producing organic wines since 1986. We will take a guided tour of the cellars, from the production rooms to the barrel cellar used for ageing. We will then take a seat in the tasting room to taste three wines, accompanied by a lunch with the menu of the day (chef's welcome, first and second course).
The vineyards that embrace the winery grow white grape varieties such as Bellone, Arciprete Bianco and two varieties of Greco grapes, as well as red grape varieties such as Nero buono di Cori, Montepulciano and Cesanese. The wines scheduled for tasting (which may vary depending on availability) will be:
- Collesanti Bellone Cori DOC
- Kius Brut Spumante Millisemato
- Tufaliccio IGT Lazio Rosso
The experience will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 8.
No experience is required for the walk, and the maximum weight allowed is 110 kg.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Wine tasting is for adults only, while water will be available for children.
The wine cellar is wheelchair-accessible. Participants requiring assistance are kindly requested to inform us in advance at the contact details given in the booking confirmation email.

The activity takes place throughout the year, from Tuesday to Sunday, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
Parking is available at the winery. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

Dogs are allowed in the winery on request. Please contact the organisers after the booking confirmation to check that it is possible to bring your four-legged friend with you on the chosen date.
