Full description
The first light of dawn colours the sky as you rise gently above the Tuscan hills. Chianti unfolding below you, with its expanses of vineyards, medieval villages and cypress-lined roads.
This is not a dream, but what awaits you with our hot-air balloon flight in San Casciano in Val di Pesa.
Join us for this extraordinary experience and let yourself be lulled by the wind currents for about 1 hour, enjoying unique views. A dream come true!
What we will do
We will be at the take-off area in San Casciano (FI) at first light, 15 minutes before the indicated time. Our experienced pilot will welcome you and direct you to your hot air balloon. If you wish, you can arrive a little early to watch the balloon inflation show.
After boarding the wicker basket and a safety briefing, we will be ready to take off!
We will fly between 300 and 1200 metres above sea level, depending on the wind, admiring from above the green hills of Chianti, the endless expanses of vineyards and the charming villages that dot the landscape. The panorama will be breathtaking!
After about 1 hour of flight, we will return to the ground expertly guided by the pilot who will take care of every detail to ensure our safety and comfort. Wind conditions will determine the landing zone, which generally takes place on grassland.
Afterwards, breakfast (included in the fee) will be waiting for us. Refreshments prepared by the crew will be at the landing field and will include pastries, a plate of local cheeses and cold cuts, and a glass of champagne.
Finally, the pilot will take us back to our cars at the take-off site. The activity has a total duration of about 3 hours and includes a safety briefing, a one-hour flight and return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
Hot-air ballooning is suitable for everyone, you can fly from 4 years of age upwards and with a minimum height of 90 cm.
Pregnant women, people with serious heart problems or restricted mobility in the lower limbsare not allowed to participate.

The activity is available all year round.
Important: the flight takes place at dawn, to take advantage of the best winds and the most suitable temperatures, however the take-off time may vary depending on the time of year chosen. The day before the scheduled activity, you will receive confirmation of the take-off time and meeting place from the pilot.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
