Flying in a hot-air balloon is an extraordinary experience to try at least once in a lifetime, especially atdawn, when the atmosphere is tinged with intense colours and the sun prepares to light up a new day.
The group flight in a hot-air balloon over the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines will offer you a stupendous panorama, to be admired in complete peace and safety, under the guidance of expert pilots. All you have to do is look out of the wicker basket, admire the natural beauty of the landscape and enjoy the peace and quiet and pure air that you breathe in these places
So, camera in hand, get ready to soar in the wind, aboard a colourful balloon!
What we will do
We will meet just before dawn in Carpineti, in the province of Reggio Emilia. We will form the group and prepare the balloon together with the crew. Once the air inside the balloon has warmed up, we will be ready to take off.
We will fly carried by the wind in the direction of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park. We will rise up to admire the rock formations that characterise this area, the small villages scattered in the green and the expanses of vegetation. If we are lucky, we will be able to spot numerous wild animals that find their perfect natural habitat in these areas.
Upon landing, we will refit the hot air balloon together with the ground crew, who will then take us back to the meeting point.
The activity lasts about three hours in total, of which one hour of actual flight time.
Who it is aimed at
Flying in a hot-air balloon is suitable for everyone, you can fly from 8 years of age upwards and with a minimum height of 120 cm. The only restrictions are for pregnant women and people with serious heart problems or limited mobility in their lower limbs.

Attention. You must arrive at the meeting point approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Important: flight times vary depending on the time of year and weather conditions, as does the take-off point in exceptional cases. A few days before the activity you will receive an email from the pilot confirming the time and address. Always check the email before leaving! If you have not received a message, please contact the pilot by phone at the contact details given in your booking confirmation.
The activity takes place on the dates indicated in the calendar and is confirmed when there are at least 6 participants.

Comfortable, seasonal clothing (in flight, the temperature does not vary significantly from the ground but it is always recommended to dress in layers)

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
