Let the wind blow you away and enjoy the wonder of the Sienese skies at dawn aboard a hot-air balloon. If you are looking for a unique, original and affordable experience, this is the activity for you!
Flying in a hot-air balloon is anextraordinary emotion, to be experienced at least once in a lifetime. The sensation of touching the sky with your finger, floating in the air and looking down on the world from above will be priceless!
The flight, lasting about an hour, is the centrepiece of the experience, which begins with the preparation of the hot-air balloon together with the crew.
We put in the professionalism of the guides and the safety of the equipment, you put in curiosity and enthusiasm, and the rest is done by the magical atmosphere of dawn and the urban and naturalistic wonders of Siena and the Crete Senesi, the particular hilly areas to the south-east of the city, known for their 'lunar' appearance. What we will do
We will meet early in the morning at the meeting point in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the province of Siena, at least half an hour before departure. Together we will prepare the hot-air balloon and, once the air inside the balloon has warmed up, we will be ready to take off.
We will fly in peace and safety, captained by an experienced pilot and carried by the wind, at its speed and direction. During the hour-long flight we will admire the beautiful landscape of Siena from above. The city and surrounding hills will appear to us in an unprecedented and beautiful guise, and we will be ready to immortalise them to always have a memory of them.
Upon landing, we will refit the hot air balloon together with the ground crew, who will accompany us back to the starting point.
The activity lasts a total of 2.5 hours, including one hour of actual flight time.
Who it is aimed at
You can fly from the age of 8 and up.
No special physical skills are required. The activity is suitable for anyone in good health. The only restrictions are for pregnant women and people with serious heart problems or limited mobility in their lower limbs.
Other information
Attention. You must arrive at the meeting point approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Important: flight times vary depending on the time of year and weather conditions, as does the take-off point in exceptional cases. A few days before the activity, you will receive an email from the pilot confirming the time and address. Always check the email before you leave!
The activity takes place on Saturdays and Sundays only, on the dates indicated in the calendar.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
