Full description
Discover Val Pusteria from a new perspective by flying over the main Alpine chain and the Dolomites in a hot-air balloon.
A hot-air balloon flight is a unique experience, we will experience the sensation of floating in the air while admiring the beauty ofSouth Tyrol from a privileged vantage point, it will leave you breathless!
Depending on the winds, we will be transported above some of the most majestic mountains in the Alps, as the hot-air balloon cannot be steered and this makes each flight unique and never ordinary. The pilot will wisely choose the best take-off point and at the end of the flight will identify the most suitable landing site.
We fly in the morning, from Friday to Sunday, every month of the year. Each season offers different colours and emotions!
What we will do
The take-off point, usually between Bruneck and Toblach, will be chosen by the pilot according to the winds to ensure the best flight. The precise address of the meeting point will be communicated to you a few days before departure.
Once at the take-off site, you can help the crew, if you wish, with the assembly of the balloon. This moment is very evocative and will allow you to discover how the hot-air balloon works.
We will fly over the Pusteria Valley reaching a height of at least 2,000 metres above sea level, admiring the peaks of the Vedrette di Ries or the Zillertal Alps from an unusual perspective, with the silence broken only by the sound of the burner.
The flight lasts about one hour. Once you have landed, you will find the ground staff ready to take you back to your starting point, but not before celebrating together with the pilot with a glass of prosecco accompanied by typical local products. The experience lasts a total of 3½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
To fly in a hot-air balloon, one must be at least 12 years old (minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian), be at least 130 cm tall and be in good health.
Other information
You can fly all year round (weather permitting) from Monday to Sunday. Departure times are approximate and will be confirmed by the pilot the days before departure together with the address of the meeting point.
Important: You must arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the time chosen for the activity!

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Policy di cancellazione section.
