On the Island of Elba, you don't just look at the sea: you experience it.
A two-night stay in a 3-star hotel facing the sea and your first dive await you in Rio . An instructor will teach you the basics of diving and take you on a discovery of the aquatic environment down to a depth of 12 metres: an adventure not to be missed!

What we will do
The appointment is at the 3-star hotel in Rio (LI), where you can check in from 12 noon.
You will stay in a double room. The room has a private bathroom with shower, bed linen and towels, air conditioning/heating, mini bar and Wi-Fi.
Breakfast is buffet style and includes cakes, homemade pastries, coffee and savoury items such as cold meats, cheeses and eggs.
But the most enjoyable part of your stay will be Discovery Scuba Diving, which you can do either on the day of check-in or on the day of check-out, by prior arrangement with the organisers. After reaching the diving centre, just a few steps away from the hotel, you will begin the experience with a theory lesson on the principles of diving and the use of the equipment provided.
After donning your wetsuit, you will board an inflatable boat together with the instructor and sail to the diving spot. Along the way, you can admire the Elban coastline and, with a bit of luck, even some dolphins. Once you reach your chosen area, you will dive to a depth of 12 metres with an instructor, exploring the seabed and marine life in total safety.
At the end of the dive, you can relax on board the raft, snorkel and enjoy a small snack offered by the staff. The experience will last a total of about 4 hours.

Who it is aimed at
The experience is intended for adults.
The experience is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with walking difficulties.
You must be able to swim and be in good physical condition to participate in the activity. Scuba diving 24 hours before an aeroplane flight is strongly discouraged.
Other information
The experience is available from May to September. Check-in will be possible from 12 noon onwards, while check-out must be no later than 10 a. m.

Discovery Scuba Diving is not a private activity; it may be shared with other participants. You may request a personalised video of the experience at an extra cost to be paid locally. The activity may take place on the day of check-in or the day of check-out.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport; free parking is available.

What happens in case of bad weather?
The experiences included in the stay plus experience packages are subject to weather conditions. If the experience cannot take place due to bad weather or other causes of force majeure, you can choose between a refund for the experience that did not take place or rescheduling the activity for another date (if available). However, the stay cannot be refunded or rescheduled if the terms of the package cancellation policy have already expired.
Can I change the date selected for my stay?
The cancellation policy Moderate applies to this package. If you have already communicated your chosen dates of stay, you can change them within 8 days of the scheduled date. You can view all the terms and conditions on the Cancellation Policy page, in the Gift Voucher section.
