Sleeping in an igloo at 2000 metres under a sky full of stars - that's an experience you'll never forget!
In the heart ofSouth Tyrol, amid glittering snow and the silence of winter, a night in an igloo village awaits you. Wrapped in warm furs and thermal sleeping bags, you will discover the charm of an ice hut, surrounded by the incredible landscapes of the Zillertal Alps.
The evening begins with a guided snowshoe hike through snowy forests, followed by an aperitif and dinner with Tyrolean specialities in the original ice restaurant. And after a relaxing moment in the sauna or under the stars, you will be ready to experience a magical night.

What we will do
The meeting point is at 3.30 p.m. at the valley station of Speikboden, one of the most famous ski resorts in South Tyrol, at Costa di Tures in Campo Tures (BZ). With the ascent by cable car (ticket not included) we will reach the picturesque igloo village at an altitude of 2000 metres, where we will be welcomed with a hot toast with tea or mulled wine.
Around 4.30 p.m. we will set off on an easy 1.5-hour snowshoe hi ke through the snowy forests and slopes of the area. We will walk among Swiss stone pines, silent paths and expanses of pristine snow, until we reach a panoramic terrace offering an extraordinary view of the Ahrntal valley.
Back at the igloo village, it will be time to relax with an aperitif of prosecco, perfect for savouring the magic of this evening. Immediately afterwards we will enjoy a 3-course dinner in the igloo restaurant. The all-Tyrolean menu will delight us with tasty goulash and sweet Kaiserschmarrn, accompanied by a good glass of wine.
After dinner, we can enjoy a moment of pure relaxation in the sauna and outdoor whirlpools, surrounded by snow and stars. And when we are ready for the night, we will settle down in our Romantic Igloo or Family Igloo (to be chosen at the time of booking): an intimate and cosy retreat, with sheepskin beds and thermal sleeping bags guaranteeing a warm and comfortable night's sleep; the bathroom is 100 metres from the accommodation and has no shower.
When we wake up, a breakfast awaits us in the restaurant with coffee, tea and other local delicacies. Then we can choose how to end our adventure: a further hike in the snow, a toboggan ride through the snowy forest or a comfortable return trip by cable car. Whatever our choice, we will return home with the feeling that we have experienced something truly magical.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 8 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

The activity can be booked from December to April.
Important: to reach the facility, it is necessary to take the Speikboden ski lift; the ticket is not included in the fee and can be purchased on site or online. Alternatively, it is possible to ascend and descend by sledge; contact your guide to arrange transport (you will receive contact details by e-mail with your booking confirmation).
When purchasing, you can choose between staying in theRomantic Igloo (2 people) or theFamily Igloo (3-5 people); select the desired option in the booking box.
Dinner is included and includes a 3-course menu with typical Tyrolean dishes such as goulash and kaiserschmarren (sweet omelette). If you have any allergies, intolerances or food preferences, please contact the organiser in advance to inform them.
Towels and bathrobes are not included and can be hired on site at an extra cost of approximately €5. Alternatively, you can bring your own from home.
The venue can be reached either by car or public transport; there is ample free parking on site.
