Sleeping in an igloo at 2000 metres under a sky full of stars - that's an experience you'll never forget!
In the heart ofSouth Tyrol, amid glittering snow and the silence of winter, a night in an igloo village awaits you. Wrapped in warm furs and thermal sleeping bags, you will discover the charm of an ice hut, surrounded by the incredible landscapes of the Zillertal Alps.
The evening begins with a guided snowshoe hike through snowy forests, followed by an aperitif and dinner with Tyrolean specialities in the original ice restaurant. And after a relaxing moment in the sauna or under the stars, you will be ready to experience a magical night.

What we will do
The meeting point is at 15: 30 at the igloo village in Campo Tures (BZ) , at 2000 metres. You will arrive individually at the valley station of Speikboden, one of the most famous ski resorts in South Tyrol. From here you will have to take the cable car (ticket not included) and walk about 15 minutes to the igloos or use the Tottomandl Wonder Carpet.
At the igloo village you will be greeted by a welcome toast with hot tea or mulled wine. At around 16: 30 you will set off on an easy 1½-hour snowshoe hi ke through the snowy forests and slopes of the area, in the company of an Alpine Guide. You will walk among Swiss stone pines, quiet paths and expanses of pristine snow, until you reach a panoramic terrace offering an extraordinary view of the Ahrntal valley.
Back at the igloo village, it will be time to relax with an aperitif of prosecco, perfect for savouring the magic of this evening. Immediately afterwards you will enjoy a 3-course dinner with a Tyrolean menu in the igloo restaurant.
After dinner, you can enjoy a moment of pure relaxation in the sauna and outdoor whirlpools, surrounded by snow and stars. And when you are ready for bed, you will settle down in your romantic igloo: an intimate and cosy retreat with sheepskin beds and thermal sleeping bags that guarantee a warm and comfortable sleep.
When you wake up, a breakfast awaits you in the restaurant with coffee, tea and other local delicacies. Then you can choose how to end your adventure: a further hike in the snow, a toboggan ride through the snowy forest or a comfortable return trip by cable car. Whichever you choose, you will return home with the feeling that you have experienced something truly magical.

This experience is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

The activity can be booked from December to April.
To reach the site, you’ll need to take the Speikboden ski lift; the ticket is not included in the price and can be purchased on site or online. Alternatively, you can make the ascent and descent by sledge; please contact the guide to arrange transport (you will receive the contact details by email with your booking confirmation) .
Dinner is included and consists of a three-course menu featuring traditional Tyrolean dishes. If you have any allergies, intolerances or dietary preferences, please contact the organiser in advance to let them know.
The shared toilet facilities are approximately 100 metres from the accommodation and form part of the ski resort; they do not have showers. Towels and bathrobes are not provided but can be hired on site for an additional cost of approximately €10. Alternatively, you may bring your own from home.
Card payments are not accepted at the igloos; please bring cash for drinks and the tourist tax.
Dogs are not permitted.
The meeting point can be reached by car or public transport; there is a large free car park on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
