In Aci Trezza, legends aren’t just read – they’re lived. Climb aboard your 40 CV inflatable boat and set course for the Faraglioni dei Ciclopi, where myth meets one of Sicily’s most spectacular stretches of coastline.
With this 6-metre inflatable, you can sail freely without a boat licence, together with up to 6 people. Choose between a half-day or full-day trip and plan your own itinerary amongst coves, turquoise waters and views that are well worth an extra stop.
What we will do
Please arrive at the meeting point in Aci Trezza (CT) at the time indicated. There, you will be handed the inflatable boat and the staff will hold a detailed briefing to explain everything you need to know about operating it and the rules for safe boating.
The boat is a 6-metre inflatable, fitted with a 40 CV engine, which you can drive with complete freedom, as no boat licence is required for this vessel. On board, you’ll find all the comforts you need for your trip: a comfortable sun deck to relax on, an awning to protect you from the sun, a ladder to climb back on board easily after a swim, and a handy freshwater shower.
Once the engines are running, you’ll be in charge of setting the course. You can sail along the stunning Cyclops Islands Marine Protected Area, stop to admire the imposing Aci Castello, perched on volcanic rock, or drop anchor in the crystal-clear coves along the Catania coast for a spot of snorkelling.
When booking, you can choose between 3. 5 and 8. 5 hours’ hire.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to all, with no age limit. No licence is required to drive the dinghy, but a minimum age of 18 is required.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The dinghy is available for hire from May to October and can accommodate up to 6 people.
You can choose the half-day option (3. 5 hours) from 9. 30 am to 1. 00 pm or 2. 30 pm to 6. 00 pm, or the full-day option (8. 5 hours) from 9. 30 am to 6. 00 pm; please select your preference in the booking box.
Fuel is not included and will be paid for on return to the harbour based on consumption (in cash or by card) . No deposit is required.
Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed on board.
A skipper service is available on request for an additional charge, starting from €100 for a half-day and €200 for a full day.
Paid parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
