Full description
Every time a Beach Boys song plays, you regret not living in California and not being able to surf the waves of the Pacific Ocean. Don't worry, from today there is a solution!
Experiencethe thrill of jetsurfing for 1 hour in absolute freedom and without the need for waves in the splendid setting of the Gulf of Tigullio and admire Rapallo in the company of an expert instructor .
Forget California: they may have the waves, but they don't have your jetsurfing. Nor the flatbread.
What we will do
The meeting will take place in Rapallo (GE), 10 minutes before the time indicated during the booking process.
We will be met by our instructor, who will take us straight to theboat on which we will set off for our jetsurfing experience! We will arrive in a quiet area of the Gulf of Rapallo, and here we will begin with the practical part.
First we will get on our boards and see how to steer them with the engine off. This introductory part will last about 15 minutes, and will help us to be ready when we get into the swing of things.
At this point we can start surfing slowly, first lying down, then on our knees, until we stand up. It won't be easy, but our instructor will reveal all the secrets and techniques to make it happen! While we are balancing, we will be immortalised with photos and videos that we will receive at the end of the experience via Google Drive.
We will enjoy jetsurfing for 20 minutes, two people at a time, alternating with our fellow adventurers who, while they wait their turn, will be able to relax on the boat, sunbathe, take a swim or have a refreshing drink on board!
At the end of our jetsurfing session, we will return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 16 years of age. Children under 18 can participate accompanied by an adult or by presenting a signed release form.
Swimming skills are required for the activity.
The activity is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.
Other information
The activity is available from mid-June to September, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Electric jetsurfing is powered by a waterjet engine with a maximum speed of 25/30 km/h.
The boat that will accompany participants is aBWA 740 dinghy , 7.4 metres long, with a 175 hp Mercury engine and equipped with a small shaded area and a freshwater shower. Alternatively, aPursuit 25 motor boat , 8.5 metres long, with a 2x 150 hp Honda engine and equipped with a freshwater shower, sundeck and awning, will be used.
Dogs are not allowed during the activity.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. Public parking is available on site.
