Full description
Discover the hidden side of the Circeo and set off on a real journey through nature and history: on board a kayak you will retrace the places of Ulysses' adventures.
An expert guide will take you to discover the caves of the Circeo, and you will visit a secret beach and a small lake springing from inside a cave.
Get ready for afascinating adventure and let yourself be enraptured by the colours of the sea and the play of light... who knows, maybe you too will be able to hear the sirens' song!
What we will do
We will meet on Saporetti beach, in the Torre Paola locality, between Sabaudia and San Felice Circeo (LT). After getting to know the instructor and the other members of the group, we will have a short briefing on kayak handling and be ready to leave.
We will paddle along the coast visiting the Cave of Ulysses, the Cave of the Maga Circe, the Cave of the Butterflies, and the other caves we will encounter. The guide will tell us the history and curiosities of each one and then lead us to a secret beach where we will stop for a swim.
Continuing on, we will arrive at a spot on the coast where we can dive, and after having done as much as we want, we will leave for a cave that hides a spring lake inside.
In short, we will experience a real adventure in places shrouded in fascination and mystery and, of course, in close contact with marine nature. In total, we will spend 3 hours together for a 5.5 km kayaking trip.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone from 12 years old and up. No previous kayaking experience is necessary.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from May to September, weather permitting, and is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 4 participants.
Should the minimum number of 4 participants not be reached, the excursion can still be carried out on request at a higher price. Please contact us privately for more information.
The excursion is carried out on single or double kayaks, which will be assigned by the instructor according to the preferences and/or abilities of the participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
