If the members of your family, from the youngest to the oldest, have a passion for the sea, we have the experience for you. In the enchanting Maratea, known as the Pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea, you can enjoy kayaking with your children.
Thanks to the two-seater kayaks, you can go with your children to discover beaches, caves and coves only accessible by sea, bathing in crystal-clear waters. You can learn a new activity together with the whole family and have fun with them in the waves, exploring the beautiful caves that characterise the area with a specially designed itinerary.

What we will do
After meeting on the beach in Maratea, the guide will give a short briefing to adults and children on how best to use the kayak.
We will set off immediately towards the Grotta del Bacio (Kiss Cave ) and, once we reach it, we can either enter directly into the kayak or leave the canoe in the 'Funnico Regio', a natural inlet with a Caribbean flavour where you can swim. Depending on weather conditions and the guide's instructions, we will visit one of the Grotta della Sciabella or Grotta Bucata.
At this point, we will turn back towards the beach of I Vranne, a tongue of fine, dark sand, characterised by a rocky and rather jagged coastline. We will also visit Giorgio's cave, a tunnel over the sea that is really rich in fish, and taste the wild fennel that gives Maratea its name.
During the excursion, the guide will make a few stops to tell a bit of the history of Maratea, which was born on a mountain that plunges into the sea. The activity will last a total of one and a half hours.

The experience is suitable for everyone over the age of 6.
Swimming skills are required.
Other information
Single, double and triple canoes are available. Up to four people can stay on a single canoe: two adults and two children, subject to availability.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the activity starts.
The experience is bookable from April to October and is confirmed when there are 2 persons.
Dogs are allowed.
