Full description
Experience theadrenaline rush through the rapids of the Corno river on board a kayak-raft and discover the unspoilt beauty of the Valnerina, the green heart ofUmbria.
The kayak-raft is a one- or two-seater pneumatic canoe, which is more agile than a rafting dinghy and requires a minimum of experience in water sports.
With this route, you can slalom between rocks, cross the spectacular Biselli Gorge and enjoy yourself surrounded by a breathtaking panorama!
What we will do
We will meet in Serravalle di Norcia (PG), in the immediate vicinity of the river Corno, in the Valnerina valley. Before embarking on the kayak-raft, we will be given full equipment and a briefing on the safe use of the boat.
After that, we will take to the water together with our guide, who will be our guide and we will begin paddling in the pure, crystal-clear waters of the Corno river, surrounded by wild, unspoilt natural landscapes.
The most evocative part will be the crossing of the Biselli Gorge, large rock walls overhanging the water. After a first, mainly scenic stretch, the route becomes more dynamic with some rapids and natural obstacles to be overcome by paddling (during the first stretch, the instructors will assess the level of the participants, with the possibility of doing the second stretch by dinghy in the event of poor paddling skills).
If conditions allow, we can take a dip in the river waters and enjoy the freshness of a magical and fascinating environment!
The activity will last about 3 hours in total. At the end of the 7-km route, we will be picked up by a rafting centre shuttle and taken back to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an intermediate level and is aimed at participants aged 18 to 60, in good physical condition and with a minimum of experience in river activities.
Other information
This activity is bookable from April October, subject to hydro-metric conditions, and is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
The instructor will decide whether to assign one- or two-seater kayak-rafts, depending on the participants' experience.
After the activity, it is possible to stay in the natural area of the rafting centre and have a packed lunch or use the barbecue service for 12€ (to be requested after booking).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
