Full description
Enjoy an adventure-filled experience with a 3-hour kayak tour to get up close and personal with the impressive panorama along the Posillipo coastline.
An instructor will accompany you, showing you all the beauty of the area, from the underwater park of Gaiola to the Palazzo degli Spiriti. Have fun paddling along with your friends admiring historical residences and suggestive sea caves aboard the kayak.
Departure is from Marechiaro, a small village in the Posillipo district of Naples.
What we will do
The meeting is at the charming fishing village of Marechiaro, in the province of Naples. Here, we will be welcomed by the instructor and he will provide us with all the details of the tour, thenecessary equipment, and the basics of using a kayak. Afterwards, we will board and begin paddling in the calm sea towards the Gaiola Submerged Park.
Along the way we will admire magnificent views, observe marine flora and fauna accompanied by the instructor's stories and legends. We will admire the remains of a Roman building called the Palace of the Spirits, known as the Villa of Virgil, who actually stayed at the ancient Pousilypon. We will then skirt the three minor islands of Naples, including theisland of Gaiola.
Towards the extreme tip of Cape Posillipo we will see the Grotta dei Coralli. This is a tuffaceous block that opens up to offer a view of the grandiose natural amphitheatre of Trentaremi, with walls of yellow tuff overlooking the sea. Finally, returning to Marechiaro, we will stop to admire the famous Fenestella di Marechiaro.
The experience lasts a total of about 3 hours.

The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 8. No specific experience or skills are required, just knowing how to swim.

The activity takes place from March to October, subject to weather and sea conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum of four participants.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
