Get ready to paddle between history, sea and poetry!
Be enchanted by akayak excursion along one of the most evocative stretches of the Salento Adriatic coastline. Departing from Roca Vecchia, you will explore with your guide the wonders hidden among the rocks: small coves, caves that were once the refuge of pirates, and even an archaeological area overlooking the sea.
The grand finale? The legendary Grotta della Poesia, a natural pool so beautiful it looks fake. Three hours of adventure, diving and curiosity... and you'll never want to return to shore!
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before the indicated time in Roca Vecchia (LE).
Our guide will be there to welcome us, ready to provide us with everything we need and to tell us how the excursion will unfold. After a short briefing of about 10 minutes, we will be ready to go!
We will climb into single or double kayaks and start paddling along 6 km of pure wonder. We will reach the Grotta dello Zingaro, a fascinating place that once offered shelter to sea smugglers. Then it will be the turn of thearchaeological area of Roca, where the past emerges among the remains of ancient walls and Greek legends.
We will continue on to the Twin Caves, rock formations that seem to have come straight out of a fantastic tale. And finally, there is the Grotta della Poesia: we will not be able to enter it by kayak, but we will stop nearby for a regenerating bath in this earthly paradise.
At the end of the tour we will return to the starting point. The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is recommended from the age of 6; minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Swimming skills and good health are required.
The weight per participant must not exceed 90 kg.

The activity takes place from June to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Itineraries and excursion times may vary for organisational, weather and safety reasons at the sole discretion of the guide.
Changing rooms and outdoor showers (coin-operated) are available at the meeting point, as well as a place to leave personal belongings.
It is possible to participate with one's own dog, as long as it is used to water and after informing the organisers.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport from Lecce. Free parking spaces are available in the area.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
