Discover theisland of Sant'Antioco with a kayak tour in the company of expert guides, reach the most evocative coves, and enjoy half a day at sea in total tranquillity.
One cove after another, you will have the opportunity to discover theisland of Sulcis from a spectacular perspective, coming into contact with unspoilt nature and savouring a wonderful feeling of freedom.
The guides will take you to the most evocative spots on the Sant'Antioco coastline, even those that are less known and can only be reached by sea, for a unique experience that you will never forget!
What we will do
We will meet in Sant'Antioco (SU), in a car park near the tour starting point. Depending on the wind and weather conditions, the guides will decide whether to carry out the tour on the east or the west coast. In both cases, there will be no shortage of coves, caves, cliffs and fascinating landscapes.
Before setting off, we will have an introductory briefing on kayak navigation and safety rules. Then, wearing life jackets, we will start paddling along the coast.
If the chosen itinerary is along the east coast, we will start from the Sa Forru beach at Macchina and go as far as Turri (a total of 10 km, round trip). Among the various points of interest we will encounter the Roman underwater thermal baths, the cove of Spiaggia Bianca and Torre Canai.
If, on the other hand, we sail along the west coast, we encounter Cala Tuffi, Cala Grotta, Cala della Signora and Cala Sapone, departing from Cala Lunga and arriving at the natural pool of theArco dei Baci (total 8 km, round trip).
In both cases, the tour includes several descriptive stops along the way and a 30-minute stop on the beach. The activity will last about 4.5 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an intermediate level. Participation is possible from the age of 8 and up. It is not compulsory to have kayaking experience, but good health and physical condition are required.

This activity can be carried out from April to October, weather permitting, and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
Single and double kayaks are available, assigned by the instructor according to the group's needs.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
