Discover the most striking bays of the Villasimius and Capo Carbonara coastline with akayak excursion. Set off with the sun or at sunset and enjoy a few hours of tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle.
Our experienced guides will take you on an easy and relaxing route from Spiaggia della Fortezza to Cala Caterina, where you can dive for a swim in the crystal-clear waters.
Is this your first time with a kayak and paddle? No problem! Before setting off, you will have a short lesson on basic techniques for moving around safely in the water.
What we will do
We will meet at the Notteri marina in Villasimius (SU). After getting acquainted with the instructors, we will be provided with kayaks and paddles and have a short lesson on paddling techniques, so that even beginners can enjoy the excursion in peace.
The route will be decided according to sea and wind conditions and the abilities of the participants. Normally, the route includes paddling along the stretch of coastline between Spiaggia della Fortezza and Cala Caterina, one of the most beautiful bays in the area, where one can stop for a swim.
Between one paddle and another, we will be able to pause and admire the coastal beauty and colours of nature, especially at sunset, when everything is coloured in warm shades.
In total, the activity will last 2.5 hours, of which about 2 hours at sea.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone from 4 years old and up. The minimum age for kayaking alone is 10 years. Younger children will travel in a double kayak with a parent. No previous experience is required but you must be able to swim or at least stay afloat.
