A one-and-a-half hour experience in the company of fascinating horses, for a first time in the saddle.
It will begin with a riding lesson that will teach you how to become familiar with the animal, get on its back and take your first steps together.
A horseback ride with an equestrian guide will continue, along a hilly route with a sea view!
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Teramo (SS). At the stables, each participant can observe theequestrian guide as he or she prepares the horse and, if desired, can even help him or her. This first step of approaching the animal aims to create a bond between the participant and the horse, so that a certain level of confidence is established between human and animal.
The second step consists of an initial riding lesson of approximately 30 minutes in the riding hall. The instructor teaches the basic manoeuvres and how to handle the horse, how to stop it and how to direct it.
Only after learning these practical notions can we set off on the 1-hour horseback ride through the hills of Teramo, led by our instructor riding his trusty horse. The route will take place on paved and unpaved terrain, framed by beech and oak trees; the ride will offer a surprising panoramic stretch with views of the hills and the sea!
We will finally return to the meeting point after having covered 5 km. The total duration of the experience is 1 ½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 14.
To participate, you must be in good health and have no mobility problems.
The maximum weight limit for participation is 90 kg.
No previous experience is required; this activity is suitable for beginners.

The activity is available from January to December subject to weather conditions at the organiser's discretion.
Attention! Please arrive 15 minutes before the starting time.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport.
Any accompanying persons not taking part in the walk can stay at the riding stables.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
